1. Jaflong
One of Gowainghat Upazila’s most famous landmarks is Jaflong. It is located 62 km northeast of Sylhet city, on the Meghalaya border of India, and is known as one of the most scenic tourist spots in Bangladesh for its diverse mixture of hills and rivers. Jaflong is also famous for its stone.

7. Malnicherra Tea Garden

10. Madhabkunda Waterfall
Madhabkund Waterfalls is the largest waterfall in Bangladesh, located in Sylhet division’s Moulvibazar district. It falls from an altitude of about 162 feet and flows into Madhabchhara. Generally, water flows within the mainstream at all times, during the rainy season, another small stream is created adjacent to the mainstream, and during the rainy season, the two streams join into one, and water flows strongly.This huge water body has created an enormous pool.
11. Lalakhal
Lalakhal is a major tourist attraction and significant place of Jaintapur upazila of Sylhet. The river Sari Goain flows beside the shore of Lalakhal. There are many bends in the river. The river has forested hills, tea gardens, and a wide variety of tree types. The distance from Sylhet to Lalakhal is around 47 kilometers.
12. Lawachara National Park
The Lawachar National Park is a well-known national park in Sylhet. It is among the six wildlife sanctuaries and 10 national parks in Bangladesh. The sanctuary is located in Kamalganj Upazila of Moulvibazar district, 1250 hectares of the homeland contain plenty of biodiversity. The government of Bangladesh included the forest on its list of national parks in 1997. 14. Tanguar Haor
Tanguar Haor is a haor located in Sunamganj, Sylhet.t. Covering about 100 sq km, the haor in Bangladesh is the 2nd largest freshwater wetland. In the city, the haor is also known as Nayakuri Kandar Chayakuri Beel. The variety of birds among the biodiversity of Tanguar Haor is one of the main attractions. Hakaluki Haor is the biggest haor in Bangladesh. The largest freshwater wetland in Asia. Geographically, it’s located in the foothills of the Meghalaya Hills in India and the East Tripura Hills. Baikka Beel, a distance of 80 kilometers from Sylhet city is the name of a major wetland in East Hail Haor , a famous tea-town in Moulvibazar district.The Ministry of Lands of Bangladesh decided to retain the statute as a sanctuary for marine resources on 1 July 2003. Other fish, such as Ayr, Koi, Meni, Foli, and Pabda, are propagated here and spread to the great bodies of water. This bill is a nature reserve for both animals and various other animals. It is a beautiful and thriving wetland full of lotus flowers and water lilies. Also, an observation tower has been built for visitor to observe the wild inhabitants of the landscape and migratory birds that visit in winter.
